1. If you want to know where a specific expert or skill is within MediaMonks, how would you approach the contact process?
Would go to the higher management / operations. If they don't know, I also ask some PM's if they have a clue. If that's not the case, we probably don't have that knowledge and we need to gain this. This can be done as supplied by the client and we take extra time into account to adapt and learn or we ask for a different approach.
2. Are there any pain points in the contact process?
Time - at MM we need to move fast, and not everyone is available for all questions or does have all the answers.
3. Which tools do you use for the process? These can be provided by MM or perhaps you have other tools
E-mail, Slack and Meet call or if/when possible a physical meeting.
3A. Do you need to switch between tools?
Depends on the answers, information is normally first presented via e-mail, most of the time a call makes more sense for more information.
3B. Do you need to switch between devices?
Nope.
4. What are your goals you hope to achieve with the tools?
To have the information in one place, we have a wiki but thats outdated.
5. How do you keep yourself up-to-date with the projects at the different offices?
To be honest, not really. We have a weekly PM meeting in which we PM's talk about our projects and present them, that gives some insight what is done and what kind of skills are used.

"Provide me with information about the work, the Monks behind it and their availability in an efficient way."
1. If you want to know where a specific expert or skill is within MediaMonks, how would you approach the contact process?
The first thing I’d do is ask around the office, starting with the Leads. Depending on the area of expertise, I’d go to the people who work on that area in case they know. If I don’t get enough information from those nearest, I’d ask through Slack to people I know from other offices. Very old-fashioned, I’m afraid.
2. Are there any pain points in the contact process?
I’ve noticed that most newcomers (at least in the MX office) don’t get a proper onboarding process, so they don’t know how this works or where they can check all the info. Once you get the hold of it, it gets easier. I think the tools are already there, maybe it’s a better of telling people about them or putting all of them in a single place. I don’t know if the MM website should have a separate module where we can login and access those resources in a single place. 3. Which tools do you use for the process? These can be provided by MM or perhaps you have other tools.
Slack. And internal mail. I, myself, don’t book people or calculate people’s working times between projects, so I just ask people directly, really.
3A. Do you need to switch between tools?
Nope. I use both.
3B. Do you need to switch between devices?
I usually do everything from the laptop (specially now, that I’m home all day). I rarely Slack from my mobile.
4. What are your goals you hope to achieve with the tools?
